The story:

I was working as a file clerk and all that we were allowed to listen to was the lame, piped-in soft rock station. When this song came on I started to mock sing it in a funny voice. My co-workers thought I was blowing the lyric in jest and on purpose. In reality I thought I was actually singing the correct lyric. It just added to the joke and so it was not too embarassing.
