It Was Bad, Oh , So Soooo, Bad ....
I had been a Bowie 'fanatic' at that stage in my young life as long as i could remember, all my peers new this trivial but 'me' fact ...
Then one casual evening , with a few casual aquantances round my house listning to music smoking some 'things' and generally talking 'toonz' ... I was pottering about whilst making a cuppa and sang along to Suffragette City with the entirely wrong lyrics i have quoted above and after 20 years am now just about able to admit to without curling up in a cringing ball of embarrassment ... main thing was , my then girlfiend and furure wife was the first to notice my misinterpretation and point it out to all others present ... Ho hum! Such is life, !! unfortunately i have more 'grown up' bothers on my mind these days ...
Still it haunts me some nights tho! ..
