i just realized it all by myself one day. I had listened to this song on vinyl 100 times over on my little Fisher Price turntable, so the audio wasn't superb. I was in my 20's when I got the Elton John Boxed Set on CD when I could clearly hear the words (off *all* his songs) for the first time.
