The story:

I was just a little girl, maybe 5 or 6 when this song came out and even though I was pretty savvy for a 5-year old, I didn't know what an obstacle was and icicle was the only word that fit. Icicle fits pretty well in the song actually. I was in junior high when I figured out that obstacle was the actual word when I was singing along and my mom turned around and said what did you say?" I looked and meekly replied "icicles?" Don't think so.
