The story:

What made this embarrassing was that I was in Sixth Grade, wandering through the school gymnasium and there were three girls sitting around singing this song. When they sang (what I thought was ) "when will Life be Love", I shouted to them "When they change 'i' to 'o' and 'f' to 'v'"....feeling pretty clever at the time. Of course, they gave me puzzled looks and my **sumption was that they were just not as quick-witted as I was. It wasn't until months later that I realized my gaffe and that I was now just another weird boy in their eyes.
